Halal Quality Control was created in 1983 and has since been committed to the certification of Halal products. In the 1980s, meat was an important product and in the 1980s, it was required to obtain a Halal certificate to be able to export it to a number of countries such as: Indonesia, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates and other countries.

This is why our society has partnered with governments and is recognized as such. Thanks to our long experience in both the Dutch market and the international market, we have the expertise in many areas ranging from food to pharmaceuticals

Our goal is to guide companies correctly to obtain their certification and to collaborate as a trusted partner. Halal Quality Control now has 8 offices in Europe.

Our global location

In addition to being an accreditation agency, HQC is also the regional president of the World Halal Food Council (WHFC) in Europe. WHFC is the organization that oversees more than 55 Halal offices worldwide. This organization was founded in 1999 with the aim of creating a unity and the preservation of the interests of Muslim consumers.
